Mental health services
We provide professional mental health services to individuals and families of all ages. Our clinical staff are licensed professionals and/or have advanced graduate training in a mental health field.
Services generally start with a comprehensive assessment to address presenting problems/concerns. Psychotherapy aims to assist individuals to better understand their feelings and to provide tools to help individuals cope with difficult situations in a more adaptive way. Psychotherapy services can assist people experiencing a wide range of mental health concerns.

Fee and Sliding Scale Policy
Supporting foster and adoptive families through accessible, high-quality mental health care
1. Standard Fee Schedule
Our standard rates reflect the usual and customary cost of services in the Mora, MN area. These are the rates we use when billing insurance companies.

2. Insurance Clients
If you are using insurance for your sessions:
- We bill insurance at our standard rates listed above.
- We accept the contracted rate established by your insurance company.
- You are responsible only for your copay, coinsurance, or deductible as determined by your plan.
- Sliding scale discounts do not apply to sessions billed to insurance.
3. Self-Pay Clients (Uninsured or Out-of-Network)
For those not using insurance, we offer a sliding fee scale based on household income and family size. This helps ensure our services remain affordable and accessible to all families.

To qualify: Clients complete a confidential Sliding Scale Application Form and provide documentation (e.g., pay stub or tax return). Fees are reviewed annually or sooner if financial circumstances change.
4. Intern and Licensed Therapist Rates
- Intern Therapists provide counseling under licensed supervision at a reduced rate.
- Licensed Therapists provide services at standard or sliding scale rates depending on eligibility.
5. Transparency and Compliance
- Sliding scale adjustments are only applied to self-pay clients and do not affect insurance billing rates.
- We maintain clear documentation of our standard fees and any discounts for compliance and accountability.

Parenting classes/coaching
Josh and Abby have created a curriculm based off their experiences in the mental health field, years working with children, and their personal experiences as parents and foster parents. Not only can this curriculm be tailored to your needs but they strive to create experiences within these trainings that increase your chances of remember the information.
